General raider rules and expectations
The following rules & expectations apply to all teams, they are designed to be supplemented by team specific rules. These specific rules can be viewed in the team information pages.

Attitude, Reliability, Commitment

-Minimum attendance requirement - Specific to each raid team.

-Raid members must be present at the raid entrance at the calendar event time.

-Players must be prepared to commit to the team for the entirety of the tier.

-Without informing us of any changes in advance - possible removal from teams.

-For the purpose of team progression, players are expected to be immediately available and contactable if sitting on the bench.

-Always bring a positive attitude both inside and outside of raids.

Communication

-Must be present at all times on Mumble during a raid and in the correct channel. Requirements to speak are specific to each raid team.

-Players are expected to speak clearly and concisely when appropriate. It is also expected to know when to be quiet mid pull.

-If a player is running late, it is expected to let us know. Contact information can be found on the website under the Guild/Team Information forums. (also an incoming website change)

-Any changes of circumstances must be communicated to us preferably via the website and/or Slack. Any concerns/queries should be communicated to an officer.

Knowledge & Preparation

-Raiders are expected to attend all raids with consumables, this includes: relevant potions, buff food and flasks which are expected to be of the highest rank possible. If you are asked to fulfill an off-spec role then any relevant consumables will be provided.

-You must turn up to raids with a good understanding of boss encounters, this includes both the fight in general and specifically your role.

-Players should be prepared to undertake any role assigned to them within an encounter.

-Players are expected to have a current understanding of what their class/role is capable of and what they can bring to a boss fight.

-Players are expected to have any compulsory addons and any necessary supporting addons/macros installed/configured prior to the raid - Specific to each raid team.

Skill & Development

-You must maintain a suitable level of raid awareness, there are plenty of resources available on the web to help with this.

-You must be able to perform your role to a suitable standard - specific to each raid team.

-Raiders must be able to accept constructive criticism from guild members regarding areas in which they can improve.

-Players should aim to continually develop their skills.

Loot System

We use variations of our loot system for each raid team to reflect their level of raiding. Please ensure you're up to date with the team specific loot systems described on the team information pages.

Promotion/Demotion

If you feel that your current level of raiding is not suited to your personal expectations and/or ability (this could either be too high or too low), please contact your current raid leader so that as a community we can work out what actions are best for everyone. In most cases this can be an easy swap, but for players in key roles (i.e. tanks), this may take a little longer. Being open to multiple specs and/or roles can potentially make the transition a smoother process. They will discuss with you a plan of action so that you can remain on the team or transition in to a more suitable team.

Additional Notes

If a player has an issue with any rules and/or tactics during raid times, please leave it until after the raid has finished. Trying to deal with /whis about tactics and/or loot while organizing and leading a raid team is an unneeded complication.

All raiders are expected to adhere the above expectations. Individual raid leaders may have additional requirements based on the team expectations, these will be published in each team information thread in the Glory of the Queuevian Raider Forums.
